I Could Never Be Your Woman
From the Writer/Director of "Clueless"
In this offbeat romantic comedy, Tracey Ullman plays Mother Nature, cheerfully interfering with the lives of a woman (Michelle Pfeiffer) who falls for a younger man (Paul Rudd), while her daughter (Saoirse Ronan) struggles with her own romantic issues.

This movie has a poor title - too many words that don't make a lot of sense and it's terribly unmemorable, similar to It's Kind of a Funny Story. It's a shame when you liked a movie but can't remember the name of it because it's too long. There are some clever, interesting, and progressive ideas brought into this film concerning perpetual youthfulness. Nice directorial ideas. There's not a lot of chemistry between Rudd and Pheiffer and perhaps that's where the film fell short. A bit predictable but for a rom/com a good night in.Not bad - Sheenie
It's a chick flick, a Hollywood romantic comedy. But Saoirse Ronan adds something to the movie - she is worth seeing. Other than that it's pretty much what you'd expect - romance and a few funny lines. Michelle Pfeiffer is beautiful as always, but a less attractive actress might have been more believable. So that's how it ends? The most powerful male gets the most babelicious female - blissful_muse07
I'm a little bias because I love Paul Rudd no matter what role he plays. I recognized a couple of the characters from Clueless that Amy Heckerling put into the film as well. It was a fun movie to watch and there's a real playfulness between Rudd and Pfeiffer. Also Saoirse Ronan does a great job as the daughter. To my surprise, there were tons of Cure songs played throughout the movie which was an added bonus for me!
