Chaos
A standoff where nobody stands down.
After a deadly bank heist, Detectives Quentin Conners (Jason Statham) and Shane Dekker (Ryan Phillippe) are drawn into a mysterious case where nothing is what it seems. Pulling the strings is a criminal mastermind (Wesley Snipes) who seems to kill without warning or reason. Abound with random acts of violence and deception - the only hope for survival is finding an order to the chaos.

Very good choices for the cast in this movie. I don't usually like it when they flip back and forth in time but it helped secure the story line and was easy to follow. The ending was realistic and did catch me by surprise which is not usually the norm.Vancouver deserves better - PFHLTB
That AMG (or wherever they got that from) summary makes this movie sound like it's full of chaos. However, that is simply not true. Sure, there's more to "Chaos" than initially meets the eye, however, the poor execution of the plot made it much less effective than it could have been.
I'm a Jason Statham fan, but this fairly low budget Canadian made (filmed in Vancouver) action/thriller doesn't give him much to work with. Snipes is useless here and behaves more like a clown than a criminal mastermind. Phillippe is bearable as a steely-eyed cop, but it's easy to tell he just took this role to pay his bills.
Since there are many explosions and the odd moment of suspense, I would say that this is a passable time waster, better suited to a late night viewing when there's nothing else to watch on Tv, but infomercials and old episodes of CSI.ENTERTAINING... - Ricardo
even if there is nothing out of the ordinary about the movie, with the HUGE exception of the ending. That actually was totally unexpected, and I like movies that appear predictable but aren't.
Jason Stratham plays his part as well as he has played all parts in the past. The man knows how to act, even if his best asset are his looks. Wesley Snipes just doesn't cut it as a villain anymore, sad to say. Phillippe tried his best, but he didn't quite rise to the challenge, although I don't know if it was because of the script and his lines.
Overall, a very entertaining movie, definitely recommend it!
