Winner of the 2007 Tony Award!
Winner of the 2007 Tony Award! Sweeping all the major theater awards for Best Revival of a Musical, a beloved era-defining classic is stunningly reinvented in this powerful Broadway production, featuring an explosive starring performance by Raúl Esparza. Set in modern upper-crust Manhattan, Company is a funny, sophisticated exploration of love and commitment as seen through the eyes of a charming perpetual bachelor questioning his single state and his enthusiastically married, slightly envious friends. With a wise and witty Stephen Sondheim score including "Another Hundred People," "Side by Side by Side," "The Ladies Who Lunch" and "Being Alive," Company offers musical comedy at its finest.

Touching, moving, insightful story about relationships and about growing older and not having someone to share your life with.
This is a filmed play, and I know that might give some people pause but after 5 minutes you completely forget and just become engrossed by the story.
The direction is wonderful, moving the actors seamlessly in and out of the stage. The actors also play the musical instruments during the musical numbers. Raúl Esparza is fantastic in the lead role, I wish us movie watchers could see more of him.Phenomenal!!! - emersony
After seeing Passion last month on DVD, I did not think that I could top off that Sondheim experience but this outstanding musical did just that. Raul Esparza was robbed of the Tony awards, he should have won. I was amazed at the depth of his performance and how he pushed himself to the role of Bobby.
The support cast was equally amazing.I still can't get over the fact that every cast member plays an instrument on top of singing, acting and the ocassional dancing. I think this stage version gathered the best of what broadway has to offer. The direction by Lonny was perfect.
