Ensemble c'est tout (Hunting and Gathering) is the story of four destinies at a crossroads that will come to live under the same roof: Camille works as a cleaning woman despite being a talented illustrator, Philibert is a fading young aristocrat, Franck is a virile but tender cook and Paulette, his grandmother, is a fragile and funny elderly lady. Through their discovery of one author, they will learn that together, we are stronger.

quiet and convincing - story1
The characters, at first glance, appear to be too 'quirky' and cute to be real, but the film will convince you otherwise. It's a very sweet, life-confirming story and shows the best of people, despite their difficulties. Quite a change from the usual.A pleasant romantic comedy - PaulZ
A small and quiet film about four people solving their problems of life (and death).
The characters are not very real but the situations and evolving relationships are real and believable. The casting is excellent.
Even the English subtitles are good.I am a big Audry Tautou Fan - GFHunter
I am a big fan of Audry Tautou and this film didn't disappoint.
It is a small, quiet film. A romantic comedy which deals with a difficult period in three very different people's lives as they come together under one roof.
After a bit of a tough beginning all three begin to find each other, and themselves.
It is fun but, don't expect too much depth. Just sit back and enjoy it.
