Made of Honor
It takes a real man to become a maid of honor.
For Tom (Patrick Dempsey), life is good: he's sexy, successful, has great luck with the ladies, and knows he can always rely on Hannah (Michelle Monaghan), his delightful best friend and the one constant in his life. It's the perfect setup until Hannah goes overseas to Scotland on a six-week business trip... and Tom is stunned to realize how empty his life is without her. He resolves that when she gets back, he'll ask Hannah to marry him -- but is floored when he learns that she has become engaged to a handsome and wealthy Scotsman and plans to move overseas. When Hannah asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees to fill the role... but only so he can attempt to woo Hannah and stop the wedding before it's too late.

This movie is not nearly as good as it could have been. Altho gorgeous beautiful Patrick Dempsey is in it....ghe's not that great. he should stick to Grey's at the hospital cuz its way more his scene! It was good however, i did en joy it, but will never buy it nor pay money to rent it again. but lesson learned. it had a good idea behind it....just didtn tickle my fancey thats allSeen it a million times before - ABC99
If you have seen one generic romantic comedy you really have seen them all. The formula is stuck to in the lazy and predictable way you would expect. Two people that like each other don't act on it because the plot requires them to wait until the last minute. Then viola a last minute speech so we can all leave happy. And don't forget the third act misunderstanding that drives them apart before they make up. Zero chemistry between the stars and a disapointing lack of laughs. Don't bother you've seen this before.Surprisingly funny - thenewguy
Going into this movie, it starts out looking like a cookie-cutter romantic comedy. The swinging single man falls for his long-time friend and his feelings are about to be brought into the light when she announces she's engaged to a man she just met.
Though the concept is familiar, it's delivered in a very well-crafted way. The chemistry between the "maid" of honour and the bride-to-be is excellent. The supporting roles are well done and bring added humour to the film without getting in the way.
The film has some surprisingly funny moments and manages to keep the viewer interested while winding down the typical rom-com road.
Though the ending is as silly as it is predictable, the road this movie takes to get there is fresh and well-paced.
