The Babysitters
These Girls Mean Business
High school senior Shirley (Katherine Waterston) works as a babysitter to save money for college. She has a serious crush on Michael (John Leguizamo), father of two of her regular charges. One night, Michael and Shirley share a forbidden kiss, and he gives her a nice bonus on top of her regular babysitting fee.
After Michael's married buddies find out and want in on the babysitter action, Shirley becomes a high-school madam, arranging dates between her girlfriends and the upstanding family men of their neighborhood. An innocent flirtation soon spirals into an affair that causes everyone involved to lose more than they bargained for.

I will state this film was ok....but nothing special or nothing to wrote home about. We watched it and it had it's moments. And tons of sex and flashing of some skin.
this is not a film I would sit down and watch again, one time is just fine. And it not one I would have gone and watched in theaters....Preety Good - DM1-
As a story, Babysitters works quite well. The build up, conflict and motives are all clear and believable. Also, you can feel that there is an air of impending doom throughout the film. Sure, there was some nudity, but it was done In a non-obscene way. The movie kept me interested right til the very end, and what a surprising twist to end the story. Definitely worth watching.definitely not what it seems - jaydee26
I have to agree with the general opinion that the way this movie has been marketed does not accurately reflect what it actually is. It comes across as another cheaply written and produced film that's meant to attract hormonal teens hoping to see some skin, some cat fights and some general high-school angst. While all of these elements are in it, they are certainly not the driving force to the movie.
On the positive side, the story plays out much more naturally and slowly than you'd expect. The story is a bit of a twist on the famous Risky Business plot.
On the down side, elements of the human relationships and plot are glossed over. Given the someone meticulous detail paid to other areas, these gaps become kind of glaring. For one, Shirley's crush on the husband is kind of quickly thrown at you, making their "forbidden kiss" a bit of a quick leap.
The other unfortunate element is the portrayal of the wife as a nagging woman who doesn't listen to her husband or his needs- the tone being, it is her fault he goes to another woman. Now the audience can forgive the husband character for his cheating, which I think is a real cop out.
