Meet Bill
A Comedy about someone you know.
Meet Bill (Aaron Eckhart) - a doormat if ever there was one. A man reduced to a mere accessory to his family by working a dead end job at his father-in law's bank and arguing about his overindulgent love for chocolate with his wife Jess (Elizabeth Banks) who is loathe to explain her "friendship" with the local news anchorman (Timothy Olyphant).
But Bill's fate begins to change when he becomes mentor to a self-assured boy (Logan Lerman) who engineers Bill's recovery with the help of a cute lingerie sales girl named Lucy (Jessica Alba). Together, the trio confronts Bill's hapless life with humor and energy while forcing him to capture his dream of being financially independent and self-confident.

I really enjoyed this movie. Aaron Eckhart did a great job and was highly believable. The plot kept me engaged and all the supporting characters were interesting and added to the story. There were lots of funny moments and yet it did not get silly. All in all a good package.Missed the Mark - jillmo
This film had potential, interesting story and an American Beauty feel but it didn't make it. Instead it felt forced and trite rather than flowing. I really wanted to like this film but instead felt uncomfortable watching it. The bits meant to be funny fell flat, everyone felt mis-cast; it was a mediocre movie of the week.Loved it so much I bought it... watched it 6 times - bluerainbow
I absolutely love this movie!!!!! It's my new favorite. It's quirky. It's funny. It's a good subtle dark comedy; A great relief from the typical, shallow, cheesy, pretentious, over-the-top Hollywood comedies dominating the genre these days.
I so thoroughly enjoyed this movie that I bought it and I have watched it 6 times already and I might just watch it again right now.
It's definitely not for everyone though. Some people love it, some hate it. If you like dark comedies, you'll probably like this movie. If fart jokes are your thing, stay away.
Meet Bill. Follow his existential crisis and it's humorous developments!
