Young People F***ing
"The hot-ticket movie that dares not speak its full name." -Toronto Star
Five stories that follow the endless and hilarious stream of complications that surround a single sexual encounter; leading from foreplay to afterglow. The Married Couple, Abby (Kristen Booth) and Andrew (Josh Dean), tries to spice up their stale love life, only to discover that things are worse than they thought. Matt (Aaron Abrams) and Kristen (Carly Pope) are The Friends, lifelong buddies, one sick and the other sick of love. Their plan to sleep together goes off the rails when romance rears its ugly head. The Exes, Mia (Sonja Bennett) and Eric (Josh Cooke), hook up again for old time's sake, while trying to hide the feelings they still have for one another. In The First Date, world-class playboy Ken (Callum Blue) comes clean about his history to his naive young date Jamie (Diora Baird), learning some of her secrets in the process. The Roommates, Dave (Peter Oldring) and Gord (Ennis Esmer) are normally at each other's throats, but set aside their differences for a threesome with Gord's girlfriend Inez (Natalie Lisinska). In each case, the couple (and trio) discovers that sex isn't always simple.

Well, this is sort of what I expected: the name is the most "controversial" part (why can't we live in a world where "fuck" isn't a big deal?). This is occasionally amusing and has some moments that seemed like genuine insight into relationships, but for the most part it is tame, it isn't that funny, and it isn't that compelling. Honestly, the most interesting thing about this movie is the interviews the director gave during its initial release (he is an eloquent defender of words).Awful! - five
This movie is brutally awful! I was distracted the whole time, and all of the situations were absolutely stupid. I actually had to watch this in three intervals because I couldn't bear myself to watch the entire thing. Waste of time...and the people are not young...ick! And I really wasn't attracted to anyone in the movie...oh well. You get some bad seeds in a bunch every once in a while. Try to keep this one off your list if possible despite your initial attraction to the title.Sex is never just 'sex' - filmreview101
A lighthearted comedy about sex, love and relationship. The movie is an ensemble piece about 5 different “couples” going through new sexual experiences. Contrary to most ensemble piece, their stories do not intertwine; they are simply linked by theme. The characters are natural, genuine and real. This isn’t a classical Hollywood piece, the actors are not glamorous and perfect, but are to represent real people in real settings. While still being a comedy, Young People Fucking offers situation that most viewers can relate to on a certain level. While being sexy, the movie will not enlighten you to new things, but it is a great comedy to share with friends or a lover. The different stories go smoothly, some developing more depth than others, but all are interesting in their own way. The actors do a great job at giving intimacy while keep it close to reality. All in all, the Canadian long feature combines a well paced script and a great ensemble cast, giving a fresh and fun movie to enjoy by all those young people f***ing out there.
