Stuck
Brandi (Mena Suvari) is a compassionate young retirement-home caregiver in line for a promotion. Tom (Stephen Rea) is a victim of the downsized economy, out of work and newly homeless. Their worlds collide when Brandi, driving home from a club after too many drinks and pills, accidentally hits Tom, the impact smashing his body head-first through her car's windshield. If discovered, this "accident" will extinguish her bright future, so instead of saving him, her plan is to let him pass and dispose of the body later. Faced with this reality, Tom knows he must escape if he wants to survive.

I never knew that it was based on a true story. Maybe I forgot. Apparently, an IMDB search shows that it was based on a true story. The fact that it is based on a true story makes it more interesting.
I remember watching this, and thinking that it seemed a little silly. I felt that the movie was okay overall.
I see that others mention that it is black humour. Once again, I never knew this, and knowing it might help to make the story more enjoyable.
That being said, if people watch the movie and don't know about the genre during the movie, then maybe the writers and others have to work harder and conveying it.stuck stunk! - Yehudi
This was a very poor attempt at black humor. I found it more pathetic than funny. The characters were not realistic and I found I didn't give a darn who lived or died. The nurse was so compassionate with the elderly, but couldn't find an ounce of pity for the victim of her depraved behaviour. Sorry, I found the whole thing amatuerish and boring.Surprisingly grotesque and hilarious - DarlingMagpie
Don't be fooled by the Hustle n' Flow-like dvd cover for Stuck, it is a full-on dark comedy starring a Mena Suvari that you've never seen before.
Loosely based on a real life story, of a nurse who, after hitting a homeless man with her car, left him to die in her garage, Stuart Gordon of Re-Animator fame decided to see what would happen if you pitted a pathetic, misguided nurse with a man down on his luck but not out for the count.
The result is one of the funniest, if not quite disturbing, dark comedies of recent year. You WILL cheer, you WILL wince, you MAY scream, it's not for the weak-hearted but the film leads up to an extremely satisfying climax which has to be seen to be believed.
