Wanted
25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut.
Until he met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie).
After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad's death by unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself.
With wickedly brilliant tutors - including the Fraternity's enigmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman) - Wes grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted. But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one could ever teach him: he alone controls his destiny.

This movie was a good story with ok characters. I found that James Mavoy was fun to watch, but anyone could have played Angelina Jolie’s Fox character. I don’t think she is a bad actor, but I don’t think she is a good one either. I find her a little flat at times. There are other actresses that I think would have been better suited for the role. I’m glad I watched Wanted, there were some good action scenes with great explosions. However I will most likely never see it again.hmmm - claire1984
I'm not really sure how exactly i feel about this movie................................
I usually expect Angelina to be reallyh great, but i have mixed feelings about this movie. It is okay, I wouldnt buy it for my personal collection, but it was okay to pass a few hours on a weekend.
Definitely not her best work, but hey, we all have those days!Wanted - ryu2cool
Things happen in “Wanted,” but no one cares. An action picture that’s exhausting in its relentless violence and its ingenuity in inventing new ways to attack, defend, ambush and annihilate. while it unquestionably glamorizes murder as a sexy national pastime, you also can't deny that the movie is at least, occasionally, sort of badass. kind of unintelligible and idiotic. Also kind of nasty and brutish. And also undeniably kind of fun. there are more than enough original thrills to distance Wanted from its assorted predecessors. this over-the-top, ultraviolent, hyperkinetic action thriller pretty much has it all. These bold assassins move at breakneck speed and keep adrenaline pumping. This movie's got some wow. Angelina Jolie has always oozed sex appeal, but she's never been able to match badass with dominatrix quite like this. It's trash, but I love it anyway. better in the beginning and goes south in its second half. You either go with the fantasy and enjoy the impossible acts of kinetic creativity or get stuck in the preposterousness of the premise and the flippant execution. Overall, it was more enjoyable than it ought to be.
