Otis
Uncut
Otis has everything he needs for the prom: the corsage, the convertible, the cool baby-blue tux (not to mention the fully equipped torture chamber in his basement). He even has the girl - a pretty blonde he's named Kim - who is dying to be his date. Literally.
From Raw Feed comes a star-powered (Daniel Stern, Illeana Douglas, Kevin Pollak), darkly comedic chiller directed by Tony Kranz (24) from a script by Thomas Schnauz (The X-Files) and Erik Jendresen (Band of Brothers) that combines the best traditions of slasher/revenge pics with the sitcom world of white-picket-fence America gone haywire. Sometimes pizza guy and full-time psycho, Otis thinks he's a wicked dude... until he meets the Lawsons, his latest victim's happy suburban family. The Lawsons aren't happy anymore... and they have a truckload a power tools.

But also very good as well as a little on the unique side as far as twists go.
The actors are mostly well knowns and the story was fairly well done, with, like I said, a few twists to get you going and keep you there. And all this with a little humour on the side. And a little gore. No, wait. A LOTTA gore!
Anyone getting hit across the face with a five iron while tied to a chair, well that just makes you cringe and groan. Which is good, as that's why you rent movies from this genre after all. Right?
Don't watch this if you are squeamish, like your big budgets, or want a "down pat" storyline that's not fulla holes, rather rent this if you're a little on the sick side and like your torture/abductions with a grain of (dark) humour!
I loved this, reminded me somewhat of the zombie movie "Fido" only more along the lines of real life. Sorta. Rent and enjoy with a few brews and some buddies on a Saturday afternoon.Otis...big deal. - CaptainRhodes
Otis could have been much more. The potential was there for more laughs and more horrific scenarios but was wasted. Perhaps to gain a broader audience the film makers held back on what could have been an awesome flick. The ending was a cheat as well. Perhaps they were counting on some success and getting ready to fill there pockets with sequel money. Whatever the case may be, It was an alright movie but I ain't waiting for part 2.Hilarious! Lots of laughs! Great Acting and Writing - hedgehog
Otis is a sad, pathetic twisted pizza delivery man who kidnaps women and has them play out fantasies in his basement. When something goes awry with his first girl, he seeks out another victim to act out his prom date fantasy.
Otis has a great cast, great acting, writing and unique story makes this a fun evening of wickedly twisted dark comic fun. Very pleasantly surprised when I took a chance on this previously unreviewed flick. This movie is not heavy, but rather actually quite adorable.
