Snow Angels
Some will fall. Some will fly.
Snow Angels, adapted from the novel of the same title by Stewart O'Nan, is two stories of love and loss converging. One is of a recently separated couple attempting to pick up the threads of a future when faced with tragedy. The second is about an awkward young man, currently in the throes of discovering his first romance, forced to deal with the separation and subsequent strife of his parents' relationship.

disjointed, depressing but worth renting - tbird
the acting is good. there are some good realistic scenes and the landscape is very interesting.it's got the indie thing going on.some scenes a bit contrived, for instance the teenage relationship.sort of reminded me of american beauty.

As one love grows, in a small-town, another falls apart. This movie did captivate me, however, it is depressing. The subject matter is definitely only for adults. A subject that happens in so many small-towns across North America. The acting is good and directing superb. You may have to watch a Disney movie after this one! ;-)Proceed with Caution - ABC99
My god this is a dark, depressing exercise. Snow Angels is a story of a small town group of characters, adults in arrested development and children maturing interacting in their mundane, unintersting ways.......until. And when things get dark they stay there and then get darker.
Brave performances from Rockwell and (surprisingly) Beckensale........ as they embody their pathetic and sad characters towards tragic conclusion. Proceed with caution.
