I was bored beyond belief by this drek. Admittedly, The Star Wars series never had the deepest dialogue/character development, but that wasn't the point. The movies' always had a visual wow factor. The animation in this is strictly Saturday morning cartoon quality, as is the plot. If you thought Alien Vs Predator or the later Highlander movies were the best of those series, this movie is for you.A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... - AandW
This is not for Star Wars fans. I see why they made this movie. They are trying to attract a younger generation of fans. But this isn't a very good representation of the brand. It takes place between episodes II & III. It doesn't advance the story line or develop characters. It's just stuff. Why introduce a new character. She has to die at some point during the TV series, I guess. It's not terrible. I mean, it's worth a zip. Just don't expect too much from it.Extended Tv Show - kav2001c
Oddly placed film. Chronologically this must take place *during* the Clone Wars tv series, as most of the characters introduced are already well known. Id suggest watching this before the finale of the tv series that had formed the bridge into the third movie. This film isnt really a film, more of an extended episode of the tv series. Plot wise very little happens (Jabba the Huts son is kidnapped, the Jedi go to rescue him, but uncover an insidious plot).
This is more for the kids who just want to see more of thier heroes.
