Rogue
Unrated
From the director of Wolf Creek comes this terrifying look at nature's perfect killing machine. When a group of tourists stumble into the remote Australian river territory of an enormous crocodile, the deadly creature traps them on a tiny mud island with the tide quickly rising and darkness descending. As the hungry predator closes in, they must fight for survival against all odds. Starring Michael Vartan (Alias) and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill), Rogue delivers intense action and breathless suspense as it speeds towards one of the most intense final showdowns ever filmed.

Well done, good cast, realistic croc and great scenery. I love these Aussie movies, way better than the US equivalents. The gore level was perfect, not too much with a few really scary moments. Had me on the edge of my beanbag chair for most of the movie. It was very much like "Jaws" at its best!
One of the things I enjoyed most was the believable characters and good dialogue. Something you don't find in the plethora of US movies as a rule. How Fast Can You Swim? - CaptainRhodes
What a big jerk this crocodile was. Seriously though, Good movie. Time well spent.
USELESS FACTS:
One of two Australian crocodile movies made and released in 2007. The other picture was Black Water (2007).
This film is considered an "Ozploitation" (Australian exploitation) picture.
The croc's lair was constructed and shot in a warehouse in Maidstone (Melbourne Victoria Australia) which was the same site for much of internal barn shots in Charlotte's Web (2006). With story set in the rugged Northern Territory and much of the shooting done there also many would be surprised to learn that many of the "island" shots were done in a man made lake in country Victoria. The art department and the greens department being responsible for making the rocks and trees resemble those in the Territory.Aussi Croc lunch - mxg123
What a trip on an Australian outback boat ride. Watching this movie certainly will make you think twice about attempting such an expedition. The story starts very normal, with a group of tourists going on a wild safari boat tour to look at the Australian wildlife up close. As the boat gently goes down the stream, several crocodiles can be seen in the water and one start to imagine; what if one of these jumped into the boat? Crocodiles are known to be able to jump really high by the power of their strong tail. Anyways things get really out of whack, by a croc attack, and the tourist get stranded on a deserted piece of land in the middle of a tide rising river. They all become potential lunch to a huge crocodile. This movie did keep me on the edge of my theatre chair. Worth watching! Too bad that Sam Worthington had such a small role in this one, but you can see his raw talent in this one, and he did a great hero job.
