Bangkok Dangerous
It's all in the execution.
The life of an anonymous assassin takes an unexpected turn when he travels to Thailand to complete a series of contract killings. Joe (Nicolas Cage), a remorseless hitman, is in Bangkok to execute four enemies of a ruthless crime boss named Surat. He hires Kong (Shahkrit Yamnarm), a street punk and pickpocket, to run errands for him with the intention of covering his tracks by killing him at the end of the assignment.
Strangely, Joe, the ultimate lone wolf, instead finds himself mentoring the young man while simultaneously being drawn into a tentative romance with a local shop girl. As he falls further under the sway of Bangkok's intoxicating beauty, Joe begins to question his isolated existence and let down his guard... just as Surat decides it's time to clean house.

A really poor film with very few decent moments - Frank_Ricard
First of all, the broad strokes of the plot itself are very common (see any number of Jason Statham films)...middle-aged assassin faces moral dilemma.
Nicolas Cage's performance is out of a B-movie. Completely over-acted and unconvincing. And who the heck was the stylist in this film? His hair looks absolutely atrocious. Not that I usually care about hairstyles, but the hillbilly-mullet-wig look is so bad it is quite distracting.
The love story is also completely ridiculous and though the actress does a good job here (and there were other decent performances) Cage was completely miscast for this role and really doesn't seem to have it as an actor anymore. Any number of other actors could have made this a decent film.A Thub & Pinky Up - PowerPipes
A solid mix of beat downs including (but not limited to) shooting, chasing, exploding and the always popular punchium.
This will not go down as the best action movie in particular for Nicky Cage; however, as far as the average action flick is concerned it was well worth the watch.Mix of different things - Redfox
This movie has action : shooting guns, chases. At the same time, it has a romantic liaison that is beautiful in it's simplicity. When looking for a contract killer, I wouldn't have pick Nicolas Cage for it due to the style of the movie. Ok, sure, John Cusack was one but that was in a comedy ... even Dan Akroyd was there.
