Lakeview Terrace
What could be safer than living next to a cop?
A young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their interracial relationship. A stern, single father, this tightly wound LAPD officer (Samuel L. Jackson) has appointed himself the watchdog of the neighborhood. His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes increasingly harassing to the newlyweds. These persistent intrusions into their lives ultimately turn tragic when the couple decides to fight back.

Why not watch that movie. Easy following story, good performance by S.L. Jackson, story that holds the road, definitely worth a watch.
I did not expect much but i was finally surprised that i liked the movie that much.
You can easily put yourself in the position of the new neighbor and imagine the frustrations that they are goin throughLakeView Terrace - NessView
I really thought this movie was terrible, Samuel L. Jackson played an alright badguy, but doesn't he always. Even as the gun wielding maniac on Coming to America, he was a good - bad guy. However, the cast was unconvincing and the woman acted too cute. The backdrop of the California fires was too cheesy as well.Lakeview Terrace - djfunkybob
This film is a throwback to 80’s-90’s suspense thrillers (Unlawful Entry, anyone?) where everyday people are terrorized by that normal appearing, demented psychotic. Jackson played the role with the correct mix of charisma and evil. I was disappointed that Wilson (so good in Little Children) didn’t show enough fire in his character until the final showdown. I felt that the terrorized, interracial couple could have looked into other options to alert authorities, friends or neighbours of their situation. The baby and father-in-law plot lines were thin and I was bothered that the story did delve deeper into why issues existed in the first place. I enjoyed watching this in Blu-Ray since the film has plenty of vibrant colours and great special effects of the fire ravaged valley.
