This latest fabulous movie from Jamie Babbit (But I'm A Cheerleader) is a dynamic, romantic, funny and politically astute movie with a smart script, rockin' soundtrack and terrific ensemble cast that includes sexy young Melonie Diaz as the new grrrl on the block who falls in with a gang of feisty feminists and then falls in love with leader of the pack, Nicole Vicius. Unfortunately, Nicole has a girlfriend - Melanie Mayron - and, as they say, drama ensues. With Carly Pope, Daniela Sea, Guinevere Turner, Deak Evgenikos, Jenny Shimizu and Lauren Mollica.

Good for those newly coming out - Resonant
Not a classic, not something to see repeatedly, but it's a good film to show during movie night at an LGBT youth group.
This movie shows a variety of different archetypes, and shows scenes of first crushes and relationships. For a young lesbian first coming out of the closet, it will provide valuable reference points to aid her through the pain of first relationships, and help her find her place in the community.
For older viewers, this movie brings back wistful winces and cringes at the mistakes we've made in the past.

THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND POSTAGE I'VE EVER KNOWN BORING, LIFELESS DULL, PREDICTABLE, JUST PLAIN STUPID TO BE SIMPLE . I GAVE IT MY BEST EFFORT TO WATCH TO THE END AS THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BETTER TO DO AT THE TIME BUT JUST COULD NOT FINISH IT.
