Pride and Glory
Truth. Honor. Loyalty. Family. What are you willing to sacrifice?
A gritty and emotional portrait of the New York City Police Department, the film follows a multi-generational police family whose moral code is tested when one of two sons on the force investigates an incendiary case involving his older brother and brother-in-law. The case forces the family to choose between their loyalties to one another and their loyalties to the department.

Great movie - LilyandMick
This twist over twist story makes really interesting. The whole story starts off with experiencing to be right in the middle of the situation and you are so caught with every angle. It is such a gret acting as well from both of the actors. They were perfectly fit for this roll.Condemed by the Ending - ABC99
Few movies in recent memory fail so superbly in their final twenty minutes. Pride and Glory is an effective police drama about corruption and moral comprimise until it conclude with such an idiotic climax that it make the first effective hour seem like an accident.
The fact that the filmaker didn't see the final showdown between Norton and Farrell's characters distroyed the movie should keep him from making anything in the future. What a letdown!Better than the Departed - Steady
This is an entertaining movie with a good cast and strong performances. Surprising that it got no Oscar nominations but may be too similar to the Departed, although a better movie. The excellent script doesn’t need the twists that stretched believability in the Departed. It is a story about badge over the family when the family becomes too corrupt. Corruption is OK up to a point but when it besmirches the badge, something has to give.
It is violent, so not for the squeamish. But it carries you along to a believable, satisfying ending.
