The Broken Line (La ligne brisée)
Sébastien Messier and Danny Demers have been friends forever and have shared all kinds of things, including their passion for boxing. After being away for a year and a half, Danny returns to Montreal. He has hit rock bottom and has no immediate prospects. Sébastien, on the other hand, is well on his way to achieving his dream, preparing for the fight of his life for the title of World Champion. The reunion of the two friends is emotional, full of memories and potential. Then a dramatic event completely changes their lives. Blinded by ambition, Sébastien loses sight of what is most important and of himself. But his desire to compete with Danny inspires him to take control of his life. Initially, Sébastien thinks all he has to do it to get back into shape to prove his superiority. But ghosts from the past come back to haunt him. However, he finds the courage to face his demons and give Danny the ultimate proof of his friendship. The Broken Line (La ligne brisée) is the story of two friends who deserve each other, for the best and the worst reasons. It reminds us that standing tall in life is much harder than staying on your feet in the ring.

Vaut la peine - scihum
Tres belle realisation, avec beaucoup d'emotions sans toutefois tomber dans le sensationalisme. Les personnages sont vraiment interessants, on ressent vraiment la tourmente dementielle de chaque personnage, d'authentique anti-heros. Il faut souligner la performance de David Boutin. C'est plutot un bon film qui demontre comment peuvent affecter certaines décisions que l'on fait et surtout comment deux personnes semblables avec le même potentiel et le même background de vie peuvent emprunter des routes différentes lorsque mis devant certains conflits.bon - sweet
Très bon film québécois je suis contente car les films québécois s'en viennent de plus en plus meilleurs comparés a ce qu'on avait avant. La ligne brisée nous apprend vraiment quelque chose ce n'est pas seulement un film de boxe, c'est un film sur une superbe amitié entre gars et on voit que la vie vaut la peine d'être vécu super bon film à ne pas manquer! J'ai vraiment été émus et triste aussi parfois j'aurais aimer une fin plus heureuse pour sébastien mais bon je ne suis pas le créateur mais vraiment un film à voir!!!
