Delgo
The land of Jhamora is torn apart by the mutual prejudice of two peoples - the winged Nohrin, masters of the skies, and the terrestrial Lockni, who harness the mystical powers of the land. When Delgo (Freddie Prinze, Jr.), a reckless Lockni teenager, forms an outlawed friendship with the spunky Nohrin Princess Kyla (Jennifer Love Hewitt), hostilities between the two peoples escalate, setting the stage for an exiled Empress Sedessa (Anne Bancroft) to exact her revenge and reclaim her rule.
Falsely imprisoned, Delgo and his faint-hearted best friend, Filo (Chris Kattan), must put aside their differences to join forces with a sworn enemy (Val Kilmer) and travel to the mysterious land of Perran, where they discover more than just a scorned Empress and her two bumbling servants.

A Fun Ride for Kids - dtaylor
This is the kind of movie that should be watched with a "just for fun" frame of mind. It is a cute (if a little generic) story and has very beautiful animation, and is something to keep you entertained on a rainy day.
It was obviously created for a younger audience, but I have to admit that I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Imaginative world, cool creatures, okay voice acting, and a fresh twist on an old story will have kids loving Delgo!Cute and fun - Dragonlord
Yes its a Rome and Juliet story and I'm sure that the story has been told many times before. But I thought this movie was cute with the races at war on their planet. Watching the two freinds interact with each other, and the budding romance from two people from different backgrounds. Through in a third party with designs on both races and it makes for a bit of a twist in the old plot. I enjoyed it something that was fun to watch with my child.Nothing new, but gorgeous animation - imagination201
You know? Romeo and Juliet? Well, this is yet another variant of it, except that it takes place on an alien world, and while the two families/species are enemies, there is a third party involved in getting them to go to war. Otherwise, it's the traditional forbidden love that will triumph, the bad guy that returns from exile (or gal in this case), the xenophobic species that can't co-inhabit because of their past, the childish comic-relief that becomes annoying to an older audience, etc...
The only reason that kept me watching was the animation. It is simply gorgeous.
Still, wait for it on TV, and then let the kids watch for free ;P
