Lifelong best friends Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) have shared a dream since childhood: Each yearns for the perfect June wedding at New York's famed Plaza Hotel. But when a clerical error puts them both down for nuptials on the same day at the same time, one of them will just have to switch the date, right? As if! I enjoyed this movie! I thought it was cute, funny and amusing. Women do get very wrapped up in their weddings and, although this was exaggerated I can imagine two women fighting about all of those things! Even though both of these ladies were bridezillas, they managed to overcome their selfishness and come together in the end.I dont - fadartguy
A cute fluff of a movie, makes you wanna get married...lol...not. Kate is definately fit for this slapstick comedy, so much like her mother Goldie. It was entertaining but not as funny as I thought it was going to be. Enjoyable but not overall amazing. A movie that could have been absolutely hilarious, was a bit let down.Bride Wars - darrylsteam
If you're expecting cute and silly... you'll get a little of that. If you're expecting smart and witty... you'll get less then a little. If you're expecting a good story... well sorry I couldn't find a better way to say less the little except by saying - was there actually a script? The acting in this seem forced... probably because there was so much poor writing that it was hard not to turn off. I'm the type who will always see a movie till the end but with this it was tough to get through. If you don't have to see it... don't (I'm married so I was forced into it) save yourself.
