Boring! - Frederictonian
I was looking for a little light entertainment, a romantic comedy. This movie was dull and predictable. The characters were unbelievable and also not particularly in possession of any depth. I'm not sure what Kristen Scott Thomas is doing in this film, nor John Goodman and Joan Cusack either, for that matter. They usually make better choices. This material isn't worthy of their talents. Not Nearly as Good As the Books - 0930tracey
I loved another Zip member's review title warning us Sophie Kinsella fans. I knew the movie was not going to be as good as the book, but I really didn't anticipate it being this boring.
I found Isla Fisher as Becky was not a good choice (although I love her) and she did no justice to her at all.
Not horribly dreadful, but do yourselves a favour and read the books instead, not good - JOE52
We really didin't like this movie. It was way to light. We could see the jokes coming before it was made. We didn't laugh once. The actors we're not good. The movie was really not interesting. I don't recommend this movie at all.
Je ne recommende pas ce film a personne. C'est un film trop leger et tres ennuyant. Les acteurs sont mauvais et les blagues previsible.
