One Week
When confronted with his mortality, Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson) impulsively buys a vintage motorcycle and sets off on a road trip that starts in Toronto and ends up on Vancouver Island in the town of Tofino. Humorous, profound and extremely moving, One Week uses the great Canadian landscape as the backdrop to the story of a man and his life's journey. In the search for himself, he finds out what makes this country, and his life, so beautiful.

Good Canadian production. - michael3
Lots of recognizable spaces and a story that unfolds nicely.
Bit unrealistic in some aspects but a good production on balance.
While I wouldn't drive across Canada to see this one, it's a good use of your time.
I gave it a 4 for story, acting and canadian vistas.A Love Letter to Canada - 0930tracey
This is worth seeing for the scenery alone. It is so beautiful it will make you want to hop on a motorcycle and drive across the country.
Joshua Jackson is a man in a so-so relationship, who finds out he has an incurable disease, so he buys a bike and goes off on a road trip by himself. It is wonderfully acted by Jackson( a long way from Dawson's Creek) and a few familiar faces pop up along the way. 100 % worth watching. And the music is awesome. The dry, ironic narration alone, is worth the rental! - 1writer
This movie is truly a love letter to Canada and everything Canadian. The scenery of the film changes often and is breathtaking at times, fun and kitchy (Canada's largest adirondack chair, etc. are among his many stops) at others. Although the story line is about a young man who finds himself with a fast moving cancer that only allows him a very finite time to live...it is still mostly a tribute to life and to the beauty of Canada. The narration is dry and even comical at times and truly is one of the best parts of the movie, besides the scenery, of course. Worth the rental and not the tear-jerker you may have expected.
