I Love You, Man
Are you man enough to say it?
Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd) is a successful real estate agent who, upon getting engaged to the woman of his dreams, Zooey (Rashida Jones), discovers, to his dismay and chagrin, that he has no male friend close enough to serve as his Best Man.
Peter immediately sets out to rectify the situation, embarking on a series of bizarre and awkward 'man-dates,' before meeting Sydney Fife (Jason Segel), a charming, opinionated man with whom he instantly bonds. But the closer the two men get, the more Peter's relationship with Zooey suffers, ultimately forcing him to choose between his fiancée and his newfound 'bro,' in a story that comically explores what it truly means to be a 'friend.'

An amusing scenario gets a big boost from winning performances all round - moviemonger
It has long been my contention that the male bonding movie, or so-called "buddy movie," is actually a romantic comedy without the sex. I Love You, Man makes this explicit - it's a buddy movie with all of the rom-com elements exaggerated out of proportion. Both Rudd and Segel are energetic. While the film offers its share of zingers and raunchy punch lines, there's not much in the way of real insight into male bonding, romance, or tolerating friendships within a committed relationship. There's no question that I Love You, Man is a cut above a lot of the movies out there masquerading as comedies, and it offers something many of them fail to provide: material that is genuinely worth laughing about. But, unless a film is balls-to-the-wall, start-to-finish hilarity, it needs more than a witty framing device and sporadic humor to keep it afloat, and that's where I Love You, Man comes up short. This is by no means a bad movie, but it's not something worth searching out. It's mediocre. Unfortunately, these days in the comedy genre, that could almost be considered a recommendation. Again, this is really a marvelous cast that is given enough room to move and make I LOVE YOU, MAN, one of the best comedies so far this year. While it might be predictable and sometimes find itself repeating a joke or two once too often, it is still definitely a must seeHilarious movie with Segel and Rudd - Silverthorn
Paul Rudd and Jason Segel were hilarious as a team. Paul Rudd needing a friend as he really never had one in this movie was very entertaining and funny.
Jason Segel makes this much more funny when there is a lot of social awkwardness between the two. The entire movie has you interested in the film and will have you laughing.
I highly recommend checking out this film if you haven't already.I Love You, Man - jillabeer
Jason Segel and Paul Rudd's perfectly awkward onscreen chemistry brings a level of brilliance to this comedy - a film that gets better on every viewing. Rudd's conservative sensitive guy and Segel's forced wild man foil each other but at the same time have so much in common that it hurts. Mostly from laughing. Praise the resurrection of popular comedy!
