and despite a great performance by Murray, the movie just didn't have enough momentum to carry it to the end and keep me entertained. I found it amateurish and with some really silly turns in the plot (talk about an electric guitar played by grandma). Overall, cannot recommend itHidden gem for thriller fans - eoguy
This one just escapes a four star rating, but there's plenty of compelling content in here, and an actual plotline. It's definitely suitable for suspense and mystery fans, though horror fans will find some enjoyment here.
A psychiatrist with her own set of problems goes to an island to examine a young girl accused of abusing a baby. What she finds is a girl with more troubles than she expected. The island is a very closed community, and convincing the people of the island that there is trouble may cost the psychiatrist more than expected.
Though the first 45 minutes are a little slow without much happening, the end of the movie is exciting and thought-provoking. Solid acting and an original story make this worth a watch.Look Out For Jenn Murray in Hollywood - sman
Jenn Murray really impressed me with her performance, especially for a newcomer to film. Having said that, it would be hard to find anyone in LA who could do a better job than she did in this movie. She did an outstanding job handling multiple characters in an otherwise average storyline. I can't wait to see her in another movie...
