Crank 2: High Voltage
You can't keep a dead man down. Hit man Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is back. Despite plummeting from a helicopter and pile-driving onto a downtown LA street, Chev's been revived and is feeling fine - until he discovers his indestructible heart has been switched for a battery-powered artificial pump. Learning his prize ticker is being taken to a Triad gang boss needing a transplant, Chev teams up with girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart) to steal it back. Now, before time and juice run out, the two must face off against Chinese gangsters, Mexican mobsters, gun-toting strippers, angry porn stars and LA's Finest in this pulse-racing, adrenaline-powered action thriller.

Crank part 2 - literally - mrbill
Crank 2 is literally Crank part 2. It begins just seconds after Crank ends and just carries on in the same frantic, degenerate and so far over the top manner that the original had.
With so much action, adventure and even some soft-core porn thrown in it makes you wonder if Crank 3 is possible. I certainly would like to see them try.Asinine (Spoiler) - Dread
After putting it off for several weeks, my wife and I finally got around to watching High Voltage on Saturday evening. We'd had a long, tiring day and just wanted to watch a silly, over-the-top action movie.
Now... While Crank IS a silly action movie, its sequel is just moronic. Everything that was fun about the first film has been stripped away and all that's left is a nonsensical movie that simply fails to be enjoyable. High Voltage was, in a word, asinine. It was hard to watch and even harder to finish.
But... My wife and I? We're troopers. I'm of the belief that no matter how terrible a movie is, you have to watch it in its entirety before you're allowed to say anything negative about it. And we did indeed watch High Voltage in its entirety. Which brings us to the spoiler that the title of my review references...
That scene at the very end of the movie where a flaming Chev Chelios gives the finger directly to the camera? That's for you. The viewer. That's a message to you directly from the crew behind High Voltage.Crazy good fun! - TheKeywork
I'd say Shoot em Up and the Crank films are some of the most fun movies out there to watch.
Plot, who needs it. Just watch Jason Statham run around like a Mad man for 90 minutes. Then throw in scenes of Bai Ling getting hit by a car, leaking silicone, and a horse race you'll never forget and you've got Crank 2.
Don't try to analyze or understand...just slap in the flick and enjoy the ride.
And watch during the credits to brainstorm your own plot for Crank 3. My take? Chase is actually Jason Vorhees and what we're seeing is a new take on his origin.
