History

Disappointing - rockmorton
When I rented this, I thought it was going to be an interesting look at the seven signs and how they may be already beginning along with interviews from bible experts offering their take on Revelation. The seven signs refers to Revelation, which states that there is a scroll containing the end of the world. On this scroll are seven seals. At the end of days, one by one, the seals will be roken, inflicting seven "disasters" on mankind, leading up to the end of the world.
I expected a little more from The History Channel. What this is is a sensational program designed to promote panic and paranoia. To paraphrase one section, "One of the seven seals is Plague. Thousands of people get sick and die every day, could this be a sign of the apocalypse?" They do this with each one, trying to stir up paranoia with each "sign", even though they only talk about everyday occurrences. I guess I was hoping for more.
