Spring Breakdown
Payback's A Beach!
Spring Breakdown follows the vacation adventure of Gayle, Becky and Judi, three thirty-something best friends who've always dreamed of being fabulous, but never grew out of being geeks. So when Becky gets the opportunity to unofficially chaperone her boss' daughter, Ashley to the college spring break destination of South Padre Island, the ladies decide to try and turn their tragically un-hip lives around and party with the beer and bikini set. Through keg-stands, hook-ups and foam parties, Becky, Gail, Judi and Ashley are about to discover that it's better to stand out, than to fit in.

Wow this movie really had alot of potential but seemed to be predictable and really not well written. Some funny moments but not enough to keep you watching. I'm betting you can't sit through the whole thing. Even if you liked the hang over or american pie don't think you will like this. Not even close same concept but I would like someone like the producers of american pie to take this concept and cast better and put some money behind it and see where it goes.Yikes - TyTom
This movie was horrific! We had high hope: Amy, Rachel, and Parker -- how could we lose? Right?
The writing just fell short and so did the laughs. Missy Pyle stole every single scene she was in - perhaps it should just be a story about her experiences as a 30-something cougar living a perpetual spring break.
*ugh*
Bad movie.A few good scenes can't save this mess - Limatob
Ugh. What a disappointment. This lame "comedy" is filled with the same jokes you've seen a million times before, but with any humour or original spin stripped away. The writing is lazy, the directing uneven and even the editing was amateurish.
The end result was a movie that seemed to drag on and on forever (quite the achievement considering the 84 minute running time.)
The movie wouldn't even be deserving of one star if it weren't for the talent cast. If only they had been given something to work with. The shamefully underused Missi Pyle was a standout and made her scenes entertaining despite not having anything to work with. Meanwhile, Rachel Dratch and Seth Meyers -- playing an engaged couple -- had fantastic chemistry and could have had a whole movie dedicated to their characters. I would have really enjoyed that movie.
