Terminator Salvation
In the aftermath of Judgment Day and the takeover by the machines, John Connor (Christian Bale, The Dark Knight), the destined leader of the human resistance, must counter Skynet's devastating plan to terminate mankind. As Connor rallies his underground street fighters for a last, desperate battle, he realizes that to save the future he must rescue his own father, Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin, Star Trek). But the most shocking discovery comes with the arrival of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington, Avatar), a mysterious loner from the past who challenges Connor with an impossible choice that will determine the future of the human race - leading them both on a brutal journey into the very heart of the enemy.

A Good Follow Up - TheTruthIsOutThere
This movie is a good prequel. After being a Terminator fan right from the day the first movie was released, it was great to see this one too. It pretty much closes the series, but in a good way. Better to end the series than to leave it sitting open.TERMINATOR SALVATION - zippo
Wow! They made Terminator fun again. Really good action and seeing this on Blu-ray was great with all the special effects. Christian Bale was really good in this and the cast around him were a good balance. The story was a good twist and they pay tribute to the stars of the first two movies in this one. I agree with another reviewer about this makes up for T3 and this one is worth while. Also take a look in the bonus features section about the recreation of an "icon"not awful! - dhs138
I'll have to admit I didn't go into this one with much hope, but I did leave feeling that my time wasn't wasted. Great work on the FX for sure. I'll recommend this to people who felt let down with Rise Against the Machines. There's an ounce of redemption gained by the series from this release. If you've been wondering about it being a waste of time, don't worry too much. Go ahead and throw it on your list.
