PPP... NOT! - TheWiz
PPP(peepee pee :) ) Is not the most suitable name because I find it insults the true meaning of the movie. The movie is not about peeing(as I so jokingly wrote) but about complete strangers who, by helping each other out, become friends. I guess it doesn't help that one is a extremely proper princess and the other a low-class slob. But they find a way to make their differences help their friendship. It's like a sloppy joe, simple, yet messy; with a side order of laughs and danger. The danger being a real funny yet extremely stupid wannabe king. The laughs being Rosie trying to eat, learn and work. I think I might of been gasping for breath when I stopped laughing. All in all, it's a family movie and so interesting, I keep asking " Can we watch it? Can we watch it?" again and again.

Typical crummy Disney Channel feature with a horrible screenplay and no real characters. There are so many cringe-worthy and emotionally cloying moments in the script, it was close to vomit-inducing. The characters are all poorly developed, with the worst of the bunch being the villains. On one end, we have a stereotypical general with very little time to be made particularly threatening. On the other end, we have the smug high school brat who's that way because...yeah, zero development. One of the few good qualities is Selena Gomez's performance, as she manages to be decent despite the awful material given to her (though even she can't escape one poorly written scene that almost hinders her un-likeable). Even Demi Lovati is shockingly not annoying. Nonetheless, Princess Protection Program is absolute tripe from beginning to end.Not Disney Channel's Best - MsFan24
This is certainly a lot life real teenage life, but those teens that stay home and watch Disney Channel films don't need to see an accurate portrayal of how the rich kids treat the rest of us like crap all the time or how bullying and being popular and having dozens of pairs of shoes is the basis for who matters and who doesn't. Sometimes these films are nice to watch for their feel good formulaic stories and I encourage my own girls to watch these, yet this one has little of this and too much of the way it really is with teenage life. Selena Gomez is usually likeable, but in this one she plays the jealous girl and it does not make her very likeable until she comes around in the last half hour of the film. Too late for this film to get back on track. Another Cinderella Story is way better.
