Haunted History: Chicago
With a Great Lake on one side and a massive prairie on the other, the forces of nature seem to exert a mystic force on Chicago.
The capital is home to the world s strangest haunted restaurants and one of the eeriest cemeteries in the country, where illuminated orbs purportedly dance through the night. Haunted History: Chicago investigates these mysterious legends as well as many others, including the Prohibition-era spirits of the St. Valentine s Day Massacre, who are said to inhabit the Lincoln Park neighborhood and the ghost of Clarence Darrow, who allegedly appears near the Museum of Science and Industry. It is time to find out once and for all: Is there any truth behind the city s famous hauntings?
Animating the celebrated metropolis as well as the ghosts who lurk beneath it, History takes viewers on a chilling tour of the Windy City.

Not bad.... - shanlee
There isn't really a neutral category for ratings, or that is where my rating would be. This was a History Channel documentary about various allegedly haunted locales around the Chicago area; a cemetery, restaurant, and the site of the St. Valentine's Day massacre. Some of the "haunting" stories are good and described firsthand, others are rather vague and seem to be colloquial legend/folk tales that have been passed on throughout the years. The program does offer some interesting historical facts about Chicago and pertinent events related to the scenarios in the program, which are interesting for the uninitiated. Otherwise, not one of the best documentaries on haunting that I've seen, but it is certainly passable and worth watching.
