St. Trinian's
School can be a riot.
St. Trinian's, the infamous school for 'young ladies', is facing a financial crisis. The new Education Minister (Colin Firth), an old flame of the headmistress (Rupert Everett), is determined to bring discipline and order to the anarchic school. A motley crew of teachers, and ruthless pupils join forces to steal the famous painting "Girl With a Pearl Earring" from the National Gallery. But can their combined curring, girlish wiles and total lack of shame win the day before the authorities close them down for good?

My teenage dream come true. St.Trinians is the best of anarchy!
The movie is based on Ronald Searle's eccentric and unconforming Graphic Novels. The film was Directed by Oliver Parker and Barnaby Thompson who stretched out 6 years of material into 2 hours of enjoyment. Leaving the end opened for a sequel. Colin Firth who takes most of the beatings with jokes from his personal life, career and famous Characters as Mr. Darcy... it's a girl wetdream come true. As Firth steps out of his comfort zone and embraces comedy. Oh and by the way I get the British Humor, and man in drag is awesome if pulled of properly (Rupert Everette).I don't get it. - owen8
I think I must have missed the whole point of this movie. Was it some kind of "Panto"? It did have main male actor dresses as a women (what is up with the Brits and that anyway?). It had over the top bizarre things happening. I understand that it was a huge box office smash in the UK. But I don't think it translates well to other cultures. Did not really like it.We are the rest, so screw the best....... - hilkayaker
I loved this movie!!! Definately a teen girl flick, but I thought it was cute. If you like What A Girl Wants, Wild Child and those types of movies then you will like this too. Good for laughs and weird British humour. Very cute, I enjoyed the ending and the heist they pulled, kind of like Oceans 12.
