Wars of the future will be fought over water, not oil, as the source of all life enters center stage on the global political arena. Corporate giants, private investors, and corrupt governments all vie for control of our dwindling fresh water supply. Is there enough water for everyone? Based on the groundbreaking book by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke and narrated by Malcolm McDowell, Blue Gold will make you thirsty for action!

The message delivered in this movie is very important. However, the way the message is delivered in the movie is poor. I have seen alot of environmental documentaries, and this has to be one of the worst so far. I want to still recommend seeing this movie, for anyone who is not aware that there is a water crisis. However, I hope other better movies come out to deliver this message more clearly, effectively, and in a more interesting way.Eye Opening - omega
This movie Is a must see, I am biased I must say, this and other areas of global environmental Issues I find very Interesting. This movie Is well done, held my attention from start to finish, and provides tons of Information around water and the greedy corporations and countries who try and control this precious commodity. As the movie explains humans need water to survive and It not only paints a doom and gloom picture if we travel the same road we are on, but provides light at the end of the tunnel with the actions of some dedicated people and citizens of some countries featured. So to sum up, watch and enjoy. PS congratulations to Ryan's Well Kemptville Ontario for the efforts shown to help people that need water to survive.
