Extract
Sticking it to the man has never looked so good.
The creator of Office Space, writer-director Mike Judge (Beavis And Butt-head), moves from cubicles to the assembly line with Extract - his outrageous return to workplace comedy, featuring a hilarious ensemble cast of quirky characters. About to sell his successful flavor extract company, life is almost sweet for Joel (Jason Bateman) until a freak on-the-job accident happens. Add to that his bored wife (Kristen Wiig), his laid-back, stoner best friend (Ben Affleck), a sexy con artist (Mila Kunis) who blows into town with dollar signs in her bedroom eyes, and a dumb gigolo - and life as he knows it turns sour. Filled with laugh-out-loud one-liners and raunchy comedy, Extract is 100% pure hilarity.

Disappointing - RoughRider
As others have already pointed out the expectations were high for this film and it fell very flat. Not clever, not interesting, not really worth watching. Seems like they were out of ideas or had to rush production or just were not interested. Anyway not worth your time.Disappointing from Mike Judge - Ojay
To say this doesn't live up to Judge's brilliant Office Space is like saying McDonald's isn't quite a four-star restaurant. There are a few laugh-out-loud moments, but even those (the bong scene, for instance) fail to live up to their potential. The biggest problem, though, is Jason Bateman. He's the anchor for both the comedy and pathos in the story, and all he does is weigh things down. Rob Corddry and Ben Affleck almost — I repeat almost — make this worth watching, but it's really only recommended for rabid Mike Judge fans. It has his style, just not his usual high level of execution.A bit unsatisfying - meghanrose
There isn't anything really wrong with Extract as a film. The acting is fine. The characters are interesting. The dialogue is funny without being over-the-top. But, when the movie finishes, one is left wondering whether the film couldn't have been something more. Characters enter and exit rather randomly and the resolution seems too twee and rather forced. Still for fans of Mike Judge and Jason Bateman, this movie is a fun way to spend an evening.
