How to Be a Serial Killer
The story of Mike Wilson (Dameon Clarke, Prison Break), a charismatic, educated, and articulate young man who has found his life’s purpose in exterminating… people. Determined to spread his message about the joy of serial killing, Mike recruits a lost soul named Bart (Matthew Gray Gubler, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) to be his pupil and leads him through his 10-step program which includes such quintessential lessons as: theories on corpse disposal, balancing work and play, practical methods of killing, and planning a getaway. Mike and Bart’s curriculum is interrupted when Mike’s girlfriend discovers what’s beneath her boyfriend’s charming exterior. Bart discovers that with determination, discipline and hard work, the great life he has always dreamed of is only a victim away.

Amusing Concept - Dread
How to Be a Serial Killer was a decent movie. The mixture of black comedy and mockumentary is definitely an amusing concept. The concept, however, is simply not enough. This is a low-budget movie and it shows. With a higher production value and a stronger cast, this film could have been great.
If you like black comedies, How to Be a Serial Killer is a fun way to kill (no pun intended) an hour and a half. What Do You *REALLY* Want To Do? - kav2001c
Great dark comedy that is a self stylized documentary in how to become a serial killer.
A sad disgruntled movie store clerk meets a successful business man with a good job and a pretty wife. He says some odd things but he seems pretty normal. One night he asks him what would he *really* like to do with a very annoying customer. Next thing you know they need to stash the body, and he is introduced to the 10 rules of serial killing (which encompass everything, from not killing kids to a hilarious monologue about how once you go down the dark path of killing friends and relatives it changes you).
