The Silence
To save his future, he must solve the past.
Richard Treloar (Richard Roxburgh) is a veteran detective under psychiatric review since the fatal shooting of an informant. Reassigned as curator of the local police museum; Richard discovers the same woman appearing in the background of seemingly unrelated photos from 1960s murder investigations. Determined to make a connection between the images, Richard soon finds his career and his life in serious danger after secretly re-opening the case. Stylish, taut and intense, The Silence is a spine-tingling thriller that keeps you on the edge-of-your-seat as the mystery unfolds.

ALMOST PAINFUL... - Ricardo
to sit through this movie without falling asleep. The pieces do fall into place but they are so few and obscure that the storyline never really takes off. It's like sitting in an airplane waiting circling the runway for an hour and a half only to be told when the movie is over that one can now get off the planea rather convoluted plot - caladonia
A rather convoluted plot makes this crime drama difficult to follow. The twists and turns make you dizzy at times although the basic premise is original. A fine cast of Aussie TV stars do an admirable job. If you like this genre of film it is well worth a look.
