Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself
Hope is closer than you think.
After Madea (Tyler Perry) catches some children looting her home, she turns them over to their Aunt April (Taraji P. Henson), a nightclub singer who wants nothing to do wit her late sister's kids. But things begin to change when a handyman (Adam Rodriguez) decides to rent a room in her basement.
Now nothing will ever be the same as April finds love, faith, family - and herself - in this inspirational romantic comedy featuring performances by Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight and Marvin L. Winans.

Real life - cloicker
Once again Tyler Perry protrays a real life situation with no sugar coating. This movie was not as shocking as some of his others but still a great watch. This one is different because it has the comic relief of Madea. I have to say the part about retelling the story of the bible is the absolute funniest. In the end a good movie that I enjoyed but some of Tyler Perry's others are better. The school of hard knocks - AvidOscarBee
Like most of Tyler Perry's movies, there's always a messsage of hope that comes out and through horrible pain.
Taraji P. Henson (April) is a revelation in this movie showing every emotion possible. The message is simple, if you love yourself then you create less drama in your life and attract the right people that you need to help guide you through to happiness within yourself.
Adam Rodriguez (Sandino) is beautiful to watch in this role. He's not afraid to go where no man usually likes to go, which is to be truly vulnerable. He's not afraid to show unconditional love to him, children and April. Their story is a beautiful one as the audience watches it unfold.
If you enjoy uplifting movies that have an impactful story line that include the wonders of faith to help you through any and all of life's circumstances, then this is the movie with you.
Brian J. White (Randy) plays a bad cat in all its layered forms. Gladys Knight and Mary J. Blige display powerful singing and are significant in their roles. The children in this story are a relevation.
If you enjoy a good story line, and of course, Madea and Joe, who always deliver endless comedy, then you'll enjoy the ride and the message relayed in this powerfully emotional comedic drama.
