Cairo Time
Juliette (Patricia Clarkson) travels to Cairo to meet her husband (Tom McCamus), Mark, a UN official working in Gaza, for a vacation. When he is unavoidably delayed, he sends his friend Tareq (Alexander Siddig), who had been his security officer for many years, to escort her throughout the beautiful and exotic city. The last thing anyone expects is that they will fall in love.

This is beautiful looking film. It makes me want to go to Egypt. On top of that, it tells its story well and surprisingly succinctly. It's one of those films that, though it hardly changes your opinion of movies or changes your life, does exactly what it seeks out to accomplish. Everything about it is effective. A couple scenes at the end are quite affecting, and deeper than you might have expected.Good Film, Worth Seeing - 0930tracey
I was impressed with this film from the get-go. The scenery is ravishing. I loved the quiet elegance of the characters. It almost reminded me of The Bridges of Madison County, You are rooting for them, yet you know it's wrong. I highly recommend seeing this one!A very beautiful movie - DannyN16
I initially just wanted to watch this movie because I like Egypt and its beautiful architecture. I liked Patricia Clarkson, but I thought she was just going to blend into the scenery. Boy, was I wrong. She has so much on screen charisma that she was much more interesting than the amazing sets they filmed at. She literally managed to not only add depth to her character, but also to create and shape Mark, who doesn't appear until the last couple minutes of the movie. Her wardrobe was also spectacular. That being said, what really made this movie was the romantic tension that developed with Alexander Saddiq. It was extremely extremely captivating. You literally can't avoid being drawn into their relationship. The rest of the performances are very good as well. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that the last minute is completely unnecessary and I would've much preferred it ending before the final scene in the taxi. But I definitely recommend this movie.
