Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball
Walter Weed (Tom Berenger) is an unassuming desk jockey at the FBI when the Bureau uncovers a plot to assassinate him. A team of degenerate, psychotic assassins dispatched by mystery man Hal Leuco to win a huge bounty includes a resourceful beauty who has a unique method of killing her prey, a power-tool wielding psychopath (Vinnie Jones) and a deadly master of disguise. Also in the hunt is the fan-favorite Tremor family from the original film, featuring nymphomaniacal gun-nut and her lethal kinfolk.

Both Smokin' Aces seemed kind of the same really - TheWorldOfTeE
This movie seemed to be all about the violence and not much of a story line. One target let's all get there and see who can get the bounty money. The action was great and the characters profile were strange but interesting but not the greatest plot and all was too predictable. The ending was quick one .... I won't give that away but you will see it if you watch this movie.beats a kick to the face - PowerPipes
By follow up standards this was a tad weak which ultimately could be considered very predictable for a straight to dvd push. The movie lacked any type of real cohesion to the original so in a sense it somewhat robs the original of its name and identity. The action and acting were all reasonable and the movie itself isn’t terrible by any means. It just detracted some of the prestige the first had build and carried through its title.Entertaining - RoneTyne
If you've watched the first Smokin' Aces then you've kind of seen this one. A group of Assassin's descend on a building all with the hopes of killing the target and collecting the bounty. There is the crazy and zany Tremor's, there is the stealthy Lazlo Soot from the first movie, there is the sexy female assassin, and the dedicated FBI agent etc etc. It's all there from the first movie, just wrapped around a slightly different story.
I enjoyed the location of Smokin' Aces 2 less than the first but the performances from Tommy Flanagan, Clayne Crawford, Tom Berenger, Vinnie Jones and even Christopher Michael Holley were all good I thought.
So despite it's failed attempt at being any better than the first, it was still an entertaining movie. Instant classic - no, but entertaining - yes.
