Up in the Air
Ryan Bingham (Academy Award winner George Clooney) is truly living the high life. Flying all over the world on business, he never stops moving... until he meets Alex, a fellow passenger and learns that life isn't about the journey, but the connections we make along the way. Acclaimed by critics and audiences everywhere, "Up In The Air is light and dark, hilarious and tragic, bouncy and brainy, romantic and real." - Owen Glieberman, Entertainment Weekly

Based on man who has no real roots in life, who lives his life on the road and in the air. Cloney was great in this role. His ability to show emotion at the right times with the help of a great script made the movie. This is one of those movies that will make you think that life isn't always as it seems.Delightful - gingericecream
A nice escape with interesting characters. I wonder if the story was written for George as it really fit the character he likes to play the most. I found the ending a bit of a shock - don't worry I won't spoil it. But I thought the movie was going to take us down a very different road.Airmiles? - 1800es
Up in the Air grabs you and takes you flying with George Clooney as he fires people for a living all over the world. He seems cold and calculating and unable to commit. In the end we see he is not so in control and is left back where he started out.... rather depressing but the flight causes a major revaluation of life. I especially appreciated Natalie Keener played by Anna Kendrick (I think she was nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actress in this) She really gives the movie substance.
