A cool cast of young stars is just one of the things you’ll love about this hilarious comedy hit! On the first day at his new school, Cameron (Joseph Gordon–Levitt – Halloween: H20, TV’s 3rd Rock From The Sun) instantly falls for Bianca (Larisa Oleynik – The Baby-Sitters Club), the gorgeous girl of his dreams! The only problem is that Bianca is forbidden to date...until her ill-tempered, completely un-dateable older sister Kat (Julia Stiles – Wide Awake) goes out, too! In an attempt to solve his problem, Cameron singles out the only guy who could possibly be a match for Kat: a mysterious bad-boy (Heath Ledger) with a nasty reputation of his own! Also featuring a hip soundtrack – this witty comedy is a wildly entertaining look at exactly how far some guys will go to get a date!

Awesome Movie! - MFisher
This is one of my favourite chick flicks! I thought this movie was amusing and I loved Julia Stiles as the hard nosed girl. I loved watching her character evolve and Heath Ledger was great in this movie. I watch this movie at least once a year because it is so good. I never get tired of it.Funny! With some movies you may expect it to be realistic. This movie has the guidance counsellor writing porn on her laptop at school (with the students knowing and her not caring), the stereotyped cliques at school, including ridiculous groups you'd never see, and so on.
Put that aside, as the movie is hilarious, the chemistry between Health Ledger and Julia Stiles is wonderful, and while the ending is totally unrealistic, what do you expect?!

I absolutely love this movie, as it's a great variation on the old story by Shakespere, but modern and fun!! :)
All the characters work together quite well, resulting in a great combination of laughs and sweetness.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun take on an old story! :)
