Leap Year
When Anna’s (Amy Adams) four-year anniversary to her boyfriend passes without an engagement ring, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Inspired by an Irish tradition that allows women to propose to men on Leap Day, Anna follows Jeremy (Adam Scott) to Dublin to propose to him. But after landing on the wrong side of Ireland, she must enlist the help of the handsome and carefree local Declan (Matthew Goode) to get her across the country. Along the way, they discover that the road to love can take you to very unexpected places.

This is a Sunday Morning kind of movie! It's fun, quirky, delightful... all the clichés! Don't get me wrong: it is predictable but it doesn't pretend to reinvent the genre.

Within fifteen minutes of turning this movie on, you can pretty much guess what will happen for the rest of the movie. Girl "loves" possession/money obsessed guy, meets carefree guy with fantastic accent who drives her crazy - you can guess the outcome from that sentence alone. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the movie though! Amy Adams does a great job of portraying a woman who is ready to take her engagement into her own hands, with lots of schemes and mishaps on the way.Adored it! - Bobz
I am somewhat new to this genre but this one has taken the cake so far. Sweet, down to earth, and such a breath of fresh air to some of the chick flicks I have seen so far. Not too funny not too mushy just right. I would definitely recommend to a newby like me for chick flicks.
