Expect the Unexpected from Volume 3!
Often outmatched in powers but never in wits, Batman and fellow DC Comics super heroes Green Arrow, Aquaman, Bronze Tiger and The Atom take down villians of all shapes and sizes in this entralling collection, like the larger-than-life humanoid Despero and the microscopic toxin in Batman's bloodstream that could be deadly.
Just when "Bats" thinks he has this universe under control, he discovers a parallel world where Batman is the villainous Owlman! It will take all his cunning and courage to defeat this evil counterpart, especially when Owlman travels to Gotham City and convinces our world that Batman has turned criminal. So many heroes, so little time to showcase all the thrills from the hip and funny new animated series that has fans flying high!

What a great take on Batman. It's a real throwback to the 1960s with some cool guest spots by some DC Comics characters from my youth. Lots there for both kids and adults. If the new Batman movies are too dark for your kids, rent these cartoons. Loved seeing Aquaman and Guy Gardner.Throwback to the 60s - suss2it
These five episodes were all at least good, the last two great.
It was great to see Guy Gardner for a change and not Hal Jordan, even though DC is going through great lengths to promote Hal for the upcoming movie. So I was definitely surprised to see him be the guest star of an episode. It was also a nice reference and hilarious when Batman knocked him out with one punch. And of course the guy named Sinestro is evil. Although for once it was nice to see him actually become evil, because I don't believe we've ever seen that in animation before.
The two-parter was also pretty great. Owlman's design was superb and it was funny seeing Batman work with his archnemis. Definitely recommended.
