Splinterheads
Life is full of attractions.
Splinterheads tells the story of Justin Frost, a slacker whose life is turned upside down when a traveling carnival rolls in to town for the summer, bringing with it an outrageous crew of carnival workers, who call themselves 'splinterheads' and earn a living by hustling an endless stream of townies out of their hard-earned cash. When Justin begins to fall for one of them, a striking, street-smart con-artist named Galaxy, he finds that there are a few people in his life complicating his pursuit of his dream girl: a love-sick police sergeant who happens to be his mom's ex-boyfriend, his 116-year-old grandfather who is the newly minted "World's Oldest Living Man," his best friend and current employer Wayne Chung, and Galaxy's insanely jealous, belligerent carnie boyfriend Reggie.

I tried to give this film zero stars but it will not allow me. I feel my one stars review dosn't do this film justice of how bad it really is. I think this movie was suppose to be a comedy, but I'm really not to sure. The main actor in the movie acts way to much like Jon Heder(Napoleon Dynamite) one of him is really enough.We loved this movie! - tinmar
The main reason I rented this film is because there was a clip of it on the Geocaching site and for this alone the movie is worth it as we get a glimpse into the life of a dedicated Geocacher. But that is not the only reason that this movie is fun. The characters are great, the situations are hilarious and there were several times I found myself laughing so hard I had to rewind it so I could pick up some of the dialogue I missed from laughing too much.
It is a nice slice of life film, though I can't imagine who's life this is a slice of but you will have a great time if you watch this.Very Funny - 0930tracey
I'd never even heard of this movie before I zipped it, and I am pleased to say that I enjoyed it. The character Justin reminds of Napolean Dynamite a bit (who I love) and his best friend is hilarious! This movie definately defines "off-beat" comedy to a T! I recommend this if you want a good laugh.
