The plot starts with a couple of young adults who get involved in a street fight and endup in jail for it. The arresting cop's daughter is attending the schools of both boys, and of one them dares the other to date her for a revenge from the injust arrest they had from the cop. Needless to say someone falls in love and they other gets upset.An unexpected gem of a movie! - gem2011
I was blown away by how good this movie turned out to be!!! Before I watched it, I didn't expect much from it, but I’m so glad I went past my initial misconception of the movie. I think people misjudged it immediately (as just another sappy love story) by the poster/DVD cover, or, by the fact that it is starred in by Robert Pattinson (who was so real and convincing in his role as Tyler, and whose acting chops, I think, had not been given justice by the "Twilight" movies). It has a very real feel to it and I liked how the film flowed between scenes and moved at an easy pace until the very end. The storyline, script, directing, and acting (by a cast of great character actors) was SUPERB! It was just a well-executed movie and I highly recommend it! DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!blown away - samba
I almost took this movie off my zip list as it looked way too cheesy. I thought it would be a bad chick flick. Before I remembered to do so, it arived in the mail. The movie was absolutely fantastic and blew me away. An unexpected gem that I highly recommend. The threads through the movie are incredibly well thought out and exceptionally well executed. I think it is a movie that would appeal to any audience. If you want not to be disappointed by a rental then this should be at the top of your list!
