When Tommy (Tim Allen) gets released from the big house, he discovers life on the outside is even crazier than it was behind bars. Tommy's eccentric sister won't get off his back, his sexy ex-girlfriend won't leave him alone, and his former partner in crime won't take no for an answer. Through it all, Tommy just might find the girl of his dreams and get convicted of love in the first degree.

at best. I feel bad if this was actually released in theatres and people paid big bucks to go see it. The movie is at best an okay made for TV film, but nothing more. The jokes are far and few in between, the plot is predictable, the acting and the dialogue is at best uninspired, and although it's not a total waste of time, you really won't be missing much if you don't watch itNot so crazy! - penguinsrock09
The movie was not nearly as funny as I thought it would be. However, the story was cute and kept you engaged as the film went on. It's a feel good story that tries to teach a life lesson by the end of it. It's not the most exciting film you'll watch but it's one that is worth a look. A cute story with a few twists and zany scenes. Characters are fun. Kenton Duty is fun to watch as the son. Hard to believe Tommy would have that ex-girlfriend though. She is too pretty and he looks aged in this movie. Sigourney Weaver is very good as well as Jeanne Tripplehorn. Worth watching if you like Tim Allen.
