Dead Tone (a.k.a. 7eventy 5ive)
Based on true events
A party. A prank phone call. A lunatic on the other end of the line.
A couple of harmless prank phone calls turn into a nightmare when a group of college friends dial a mad man. The group becomes trapped in a horrifying game of survival against a monster, hell-bent on killing more than just their night of partying. Once the phone line goes dead, it's too late to escape the fun and games this maniac has in mind...

Nice homage to 90s Teen Horrors - JayA
I didn't think I'd enjoy this one as much as I did. Sure, the acting is a bit suspect in places, and it's littered with a handful of predictable clichés, but that's what you expect with this type of film. It was along the veins of a 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', or a 'Scream', which is a compliment in my book. I will definitely watch it again because a couple of parts didn't make total sense to me, but it doesn't matter, I enjoyed it for a fun scare flick without being like so many other gorefests of today. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised, and if you miss 90s style horror, you should definitely check this one out!
