Gunless
Fastest draw on the north... kinda.
When notorious American gunslinger, The Montana Kid (Paul Gross), staggers into the tiny Canadian hamlet of Barclay’s Brush, life for the town's 17 inhabitants is about to get exciting. The Kid immediately gets into an unfortunate altercation with Jack, the town's surly blacksmith, which leads to the The Kid 'calling him out' for some good old frontier justice – a showdown. But in a place totally ill-prepared to deal with a classic gun fight and without a single working pistol to be found, adhering to the code of the American Wild West may prove difficult.

I got Gunless to watch with my aged in-laws over the Christmas holidays. I know they like Paul Gross (no one doesn't) and I'd seen the trailer enough times that I thought it would be a good movie for them.
And it was! The film is a pleasure to watch. My in-laws laughed and laughed. Paul Gross is funny and pretty sexy in a "I know I smell bad" kind of way. The dilemma of the requisite damsel in distress is plausible and the damsel requites herself well. The supporting characters - including a funny turn by Graham Greene - are all good. The story is better than the trailer or the movie summary lets on. Gunless is more than worth a watch. Zip List this movie!!!Very funny, enjoyed it immensely. - ikikass
Flawless writing, acting and filming and VERY funny. I really liked this one. Give it a try, you'll laugh. Paul was a great character and the Canadian humor is spot well written.
I didn't know what to expect when and almost didn't get it but I'm glad I did. A fun family friendly film. Not too bad at all - Canada123
Other than confirming just about every cliched American perception of Canadians this movie is fun - but to sell it to the US market I suppose new ground would not be broken there.
The pace is a bit lumpy - it winds its' way to the boy gets girl conclusion you know is going to happen but it is not a smooth path to get there. It's good work in general and Paul Gross goes it again - kind of the US bad guy morphing into his usual Mountie persona
