Letters to Juliet
In Verona, Italy - the beautiful city where Romeo first met Juliet - there is a place where the heartbroken leave notes asking Juliet for her help. It's there that aspiring writer Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) finds a 50-year-old letter that will change her life forever. As she sets off on a romantic journey of the heart with the letter's author, Claire (Vanessa Redgrave), now a grandmother, and her handsome grandson (Christopher Egan), all three will discover that sometimes the greatest love story ever told is your own.

Quite a surprise - Raghnall
We sat down to watch this movie expecting it to be an okay movie and something mushy and romantic to pass the time. But it completely surprised us and turned into a very moving and interesting movie with great acting from the lead actress. The scenery was amazing and just made me long to visit Italy. All in all a very romantic movie that left us wanting to buy it (which we did).Loved it - Isis59
This is a wonderful storyline. A Romantic comedy about a wall in Italy that lovers would leave letters at and an American visitor on her honeymoon who gets involved in a letter written 30 years prior during WWII by a young lover who didn't pick the man that she truly loved. This begins an adventure to find the woman who wrote the letter and ultimate to re-unite the two lovers.Great Movie - just4fun
My husband and I both enjoyed this movie - we really didn't know what to expect so were pleasantly surprised. It was a romance story but nice to see a romance in the senior age bracket instead of the usual. Vanessa Redgrave was superb and her relationship with her grandson was special.
Will probably watch this again and have our parents and teenagers join us.
