In the 10 years since his fiancée was killed, special op MacGruber (Will Forte) has sworn off a life of fighting crime with his bare hands. But when he learns his country needs him to find a nuclear warhead that's been stolen by his sworn enemy, Dieter VonCunth (Val Kilmer), MacGruber teams up with his trusty sidekick (SNL's breakout star Kristen Wiig) and an uptight lieutenant (Ryan Phillippe) to get the job done. The trio sets out on a rampage of utter destruction in this action comedy that's so over the top, it "makes The Hangover look like Beaches" (Mike Sampson, JoBlo.com)!

I really didn't expect much from this movie, but it WAS actually worse than I expected. I was hoping for a few more laughs, but it just didn't happen. I would not recommend this movie to anyone. I'm not usually the type of person to say that...but it's true. Sorry.Yep - Sprock
MacGruber, The Unrated Edition, is a typically poor movie based on a Saturday Night Live sketch. There are only a few jokes / gags in the entire movie that are different from the TV show. Whatever happened to the good old days when SNL could make a movie better then the sketch, like Wayne’s World?Really, just don't waste your time... - matheos
My brother warned me that this was a SNL movie flop but still I had to see how bad it could be. The humor of MacGruber just don't work. I still dont know how I did to sit down and watch the entire movie. I guess you have to shut down all the switch in your brain. Painful.
